WARNING: This article is written by a Presbyterian AND he constantly lumps all believers in the doctrines of grace into pretty much the same category. He does mention the Baptists positively, though.

That said, I think it answers an accusation that the Arminian often makes - that is, that "Calvinists" (no, I don't like that term) are not and cannot be missionary. That is flat wrong and history says otherwise.

I will say, though, it seems in these last days in which we are living, that many believers in the doctrines of grace are satisfied to sit back and watch their friends and family die and go to hell. There is little missionary movement among SGB people, from all indication. Of course, we blame the last days rather than our "Jonah-like" attitude.

2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

I use a chat site to tell others the gospel. I have been on PalTalk and what I find is that not many talk of the blood of Jesus. I use Kirk Cameron's method called Hell's Best Kept Secret. I truely want others to know my Saviour. I feel this method of using the law and them saying that they have broken it, shows them they have sinned.

Paul, endured much to carry the gospel to others. The internet is the means I use now. People answer the door with a cell phone in their hand and say they were in the middle of a phone call, if they don't want to talk to you.

The problem I see is that oftentimes doctrine is put before the gospel. I try to find out if someone is a sheep/believer before I go into the 5 points. If they aren't, they do not have the Holy Spirit to understand Spiritual things.

I like to leave calvin out of the 5 points doctrines of true SGMB, because his word were written long before calvin tried to take credit for discovering, these already BIBLE doctrines, and hope everyone and beleive everyone here are true missionary SCGB. The apostles were preaching the doctrines before calvin was born. Just my 2 cents worth.
