I'm reading "Simple Christianity" by John MacArthur. I just finished "Differences Between Bible Versions" by Gary F. Zeolla. It'd take me 10 minutes to list all of the commentaries I have sitting around me.

God bless.

I'm reading, first and foremost, the Authorized Version of the Holy Bible, both privately and during evening family devotions, Ashamed of the Gospel by John MacArthur, Church Truth Vol. 2, by Davis W. Huckabee, Deliver Us From Evil by Ravi Zacharias, not to mention a number of commentaries I refer to.

Well, I am daily reading my Bible, of course. (1769 Authorized King James Version) That should go without saying, but I mention that so that no one will accuse me of neglecting the important things in light of the next book I am about to mention.

I am currently reading "Rules for Radicals" by Saul D. Alinsky. Alinsky calls it "A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals". It is, to say the least... enlightening.

Till Christ returns,

OK - time for an update everybody...

As for me:
KJV Bible
Jesus Christ His Resurrection by Butler
Arguing with Idiots by Glen Beck

Just finished: Secrets of the Koran by Don Richardson

The author did his research for this book. It is an informative read. After a very pointed verbal exchange with several Muslims in an online discussion forum about religion, I read the Koran and a couple of history books about Islam. This book confirmed some of the initial gut feelings that I had after talking to the Muslims and reading about them. The two worst enemies of Islam are Mohammed and the Koran. Don Richardson makes this redundantly clear in this book. He also shows what the future holds as Islam works toward the goal of world conquest. Do you know about their three pronged plan for Jihad victory? He also tells how to take a stand against the supremacist mindset of Islam. Our media and political leaders are dropping the ball. The chapter on Black Muslims was very good and there are some points to ponder in the appendix about exclusionist and inclusionist Christians.

Bankruptcy Of Our Nation By Jerry Robinson

All in all this is a depressing book but there are at least some general rules to go by in the end that will help the reader to deal with the conclusions from the facts listed in this work and as the author is fond of saying, "Facts are stubborn." Learn about the history of money and in particular the so-called petrodollar and how "Fiat Money" like the present US Dollar comes into existance out of nothing by using the hidden tactics of International Bankers. See the doom of the dollar due to the debt driven mindset of American Society and ask yourself some heart searching questions about your personal attitude toward economics.

I could be wrong but I believe it is by Jefferson Davis.

My chiropractor suggested that I read "Radical" by David Platt. I haven't yet picked up on whether he's an Arminian or not. He surely is NOT a SGB. However, he really makes some good points. The subtitle of his book is "Taking back your faith from the American Dream."

I haven't gotten deep into it, but, it's challenging from what I've seen thusfar.
